Mrs. Trocchio: Thanks Mrs. MacQuarrie!! What have I been doing this week to keep busy?Well, I’ve been reading, baking lots of cookies and doing art projects like painting rocks 😊 To keep this conversation going, I’m tagging someone else......So, TAG! YOU’RE IT! Mrs. Limbach 😁

Mrs. Byrne: I heard about this new Cafe where all the cool 5th grade teachers and students were hanging out....I couldn't wait to check it out!!! This is so great!!! Okay...ready...riddle time! "What kind of Band doesn't play music?" ...I can't wait to see who figures it out first!

Maria: Hi Mrs. Byrne. I want to tell you that I love your beat box lessons on your webpage. My brother and I watch it. I am better than him though. lol. Okay, bye it was nice talking with you.

Wednesday, April 15, 2020

Mrs. Byrne: Hi Maria! That is so wonderful to hear! I’m so glad that you are enjoying beatboxing! I look so silly when I try to do it in the Mirror, but it is definitely tons of fun!

Yanci: Mrs. Byrne I think the answer for the riddle is a rubber band.

Mrs. Byrne: Hi Yanci! You are one smart lady!! You are correct! Rubber bands are the only bands that don’t play music lol! .... unless of course you try stretching them over a large tissue box like a mini guitar! Stay tuned for more music trivia!

Mrs. Macquarrie: What a cute riddle! I wouldn't have gotten that. How is everyone? I've been loving the book we are all listening to. How do you like it Mrs. Beard?
Mrs. BeardMrs. Beard: Me? I LOVE the story. I do think that Amelia is a bit wishy-washy but I do like the book and I really don't know what to expect next. Every chapter surprises me. I do have my own riddle though...It's a math riddle:
Add me to myself and multiply by 4. Divide me by 8 and you will have me once more. What number am I?

Friday, April 24, 2020

Mrs. Byrne:
Hmmm, that's a tricky one Mrs. Beard, is it 1? Mrs. MacQuarrie - what book is everyone reading? Has anyone been taking advantage of listening or watching all the beautiful concerts and live performances being offered on television these days? My family absolutely loved watching the Disney Sing-Along! I can't stop singing!
Mrs. BeardMrs. Beard: Very good! The answer is 1. If you add one to itself you get 2. If you multiply that by 4 you get 8 and then if you divide that by 8 you get back to 1. I am impressed. I too loved watching the Disney Sing-Along. I love music and I love Disney!

Jose: My brother showed me this page and told me that today is Arbor Day. I have a tree riddle. Do you want to hear it? What can pass through a tree without rustling any leaves? Good luck trying to guess the answer. I told my father and he didn't know.

Alexis:
Mrs. Byrne, is the answer, trombone?

Mrs. Byrne: Great Job Alexis!!! Trombone it is!!!! I miss you and hope you log into your Quaver Music Account soon so we can exchange music videos!
