Southeast Students Take Audiences on ‘Hawaiian Adventure’

Southeast Elementary School third grade students welcomed families to an Evening of the Arts on April 15, featuring a “Hawaiian Adventure” performance and a showcase of student artwork.

Guests were invited to view student-created artwork before the performance, which set the stage for a musical journey to Hawaii. With ukuleles in hand, students stepped into character and brought the theme to life through music and storytelling.

Throughout the performance, students blended song and movement in a lively presentation that reflected their preparation in the classroom and during rehearsals. Smiles and laughter filled the room as performers carried the story forward with energy and imagination.

The evening concluded with a group performance of “Best Day of My Life,” as students and audience members shared in the final number.

The event was organized by music teacher Victoria Byrne and art teacher Stephanie Clark.
